Buddyzm - Hinduizm : Goddess Mahakali is worshiped. Bonalu is an annual festival of Telangana celebrated in Twin Cities Hyderabad, Secunderabad and other parts of Telangana, India. It is celebrated in the month of Ashada Masam, in July/August. Special poojas are performed for Yellamma on the first and last day of the festival. In the 108th birth of Goddess Parvati, Lord Shiva accepted her love. Goddess Parvati is also known as Teej Mata. Till today, the festival of Teej is celebrated to honour the devotion of Goddess Parvati – popularly known as TEEJ MATA. Knowing that Lord Shiva has accepted her as a wife, she was delighted and celebrated the reunion during the pleasant time of monsoon, in the month of Shravan. Hence, to date, the festival is well known as Hariyali Teej or Shravani Teej. Singhara Teej is remembered as a reunion of Shiva and Shakti. Buddyzm - Hinduizm : Jhulan Purnima: All devotees wait patiently in a queue to swing Their Lordships. The swing (jhulana) beautified with splendid flower decorations, colorful beads, etc. A special flower rope is used to pull the swing. An arotik is performed after Sri Sri Radha Madhava are seated on the swing, and devotees bring a variety of bhoga to please Their Lordships. Kirtana and bhajans go on for almost two hours, and many visitors join in to pull Their Lordship's swing.

Buddyzm - Hinduizm : A harvest festival celebrated on the full moon day of the Hindu lunar month of Ashvin (September to October), marking the end of the monsoon season. In Odisha, on this day unmarried women keep fast with the popular belief of getting their suitable groom(kumara). This festival starts with maidens welcoming the sun god just at sunrise with a coconut-leaf-made-vessel called 'kula' filled with fried paddy containing 7 fruits like coconut, banana, cucumber, betel nut, sugar-cane, guava followed by 'Aarti'. In the evening they break their fast by preparing a dish containing the fried paddy of the morning along with the fruits, curd, and jaggery to offer the moon god before the 'tulsi' plant.
